The Salt Lake Turbulence (The Burbs) are a Golly team from Salt Lake City, Utah. They joined the league in Season 16 and won their first Hellmouth Cup championship in Season 21, making them the first expansion team to win a championship.

Despite their insistence on being called "The Turbulence" both formally and informally, the Turbulence are more widely known throughout the league as "The Burbs". This has led to much confusion, since it sounds similar to "The Birds" (the nickname of the Long Beach Flightless Birds ). Despite all of the protesting, the Burbs nickname has stuck.
