In Dragon/Season 17 the Sand City Sidewinders swept the Berkeley Brutalists 4-0 in the Season 17 Dragon Cup Series. It was only the second sweep that had ever occurred in the Dragon Cup. It happened one season after the first sweep (see the Season 16 Dragon Cup Series).

The sweep earned the nickname "The Squeaky Sweep" because the Berkeley Brutalists lost Game 4 by a single point, 5,850-5,849 (see 23792408-4863-4c88-9033-2a338076187f). The loss occurred in the final generations of the game, and the grid was immediately rushed by fans, making it impossible for the Brutalists to challenge the ruling of the Grid Umpires and leading to a slew of conspiracy theories that are widely discussed in online forums.
