The Purple Gang was an attempted Klein Cup reincarnation of the famed, but ultimately doomed and cursed, Big Purple Machine which showed immense promise in the Hellmouth Cup postseason, only to bomb out and choke in the most critical moments. Much like its namesake, the Purple Gang was forged in the fire of dominance in a sweep of bitter rivals, only to be immediately self-extinguished, leading to repeated chokes at the most crucial moments.

Detroit Grape Chews
disposal of their bitter rivals, the
