Having clinched the second-place Rainbow Cup series spot - excellent luck, given that it was the final Rainbow Cup season - the 
Milwaukee Flamingos
were ready to step out to the parking lot of the hotel where they were staying for the Rainbow Cup series and puff on some traditional victory cigars while guzzling mediocre lager from lukewarm cans.
But the 
San Francisco Boat Shoes
were staying at the same hotel, and complained loudly to management about the commotion in the parking lot, shouted out the window at the Mingos, and asked the security guard to disperse the collective. All to no avail - the Mingos partied into the night and early morning, enjoying cigars and beer up until Game 1 of the Rainbow Cup series began.
