Jersey Courage
From Golly.Life Wiki
Jersey Courage refers to courage gained from intoxication with alcohol. The term stems from the
Jersey OSHA Violations
tradition of getting smashed, hammered, blitzed, sloshed, stewed, and three sheets to the wind before every playoffs game. (Often contrasted with Seattle Courage.)
Success or failure is not implied in the use of the term. There is only the general expectation that Jersey Courage will lead to unexpected, exciting, terrifying, or interesting things happening.
