- write narrative out on respective team's page. just write.
- once it is roughly done, split whole thing into one or more lore fragments

During Season 4 of the Hellmouth Cup, the Boot Lickers were down in the dumps about their bitter rivals, the 
San Francisco Boat Shoes
, claiming their second champion title in three seasons. In doubt about their chances at making the playoffs, the team decided to start a book club, and on Day 24 of the season, the whole team read a self-help book called "Visualize Your Power." The next day, Day 25, the Boot Lickers were in Detroit facing off against the Grape Chews (The Big Purple Machine).
The Boot Lickers trailed for most of the game, and even ran out of gas while the Grape Chews were still going strong. Yet in the ultimate own-goal moment, a last minute formation by the Grape Chews backfired, eating valuable points, and leaving the Boot Lickers with a narrow one-point victory over the Grape Chews.
The post-match celebration in the visitors locker room was joyful, triumphant, and chaotic, lasting until the wee hours of the morning. The celebration had the intensity and energy of a postseason victory celebration. Meanwhile, no one in Detroit could understand why the Boot Lickers would be so exuberant about a seemingly random mid-season victory. The Boot Lickers posed for a team photo, with all 120,000 players teared up and holding up their "Visualize Your Power" self help books that they had all read as part of the book club. The photo went viral the next day, earning the match the nickname "Visualize Your Power".
The transformational "Visualize Your Power" game marked the start of an 18-7 run, vaulting the Boot Lickers into the playoffs. The Boot Lickers would defeat the Grape Chews to clinch the Hot League pennant, and defeat the 
Long Beach Flightless Birds
to become the Season 4 Hellmouth Cup champions.
