The Peppersauce Crown is the rivalry between the Tucson Butchers and the Phoenix Freshrolls. It is one of the three Crown Jewels of Golly - a coveted spot that ranks it among the most historically important rivalries in Golly. The Peppersauce Crown is named for Peppersauce Cave, located north of Tucson in the general direction of Phoenix.
The Peppersauce Crown rivalry began with the Phoenix Freshrolls joining the league in Season 16, much to the annoyance of the Tucson Butchers. The Freshrolls, unlike the three other Season 16 expansion teams, already had some history with one of the Golly teams. The Freshrolls and the Butchers had played blittle league together as kids, and were mirror opposites. While the Freshrolls were busy completing their homework and laying out their shoes for the next day, the Butchers were wandering through the woods looking for interesting bugs. Their antithetical personalities continue to clash to this day.
