The Animals had an early strong showing in the Hellmouth Cup, but knocked up against a stronger Tucson Butchers team in the postseason and were knocked out by the Butchers several times.

In the S6 postseason, the #1 seeded Animals completed a Texas-sized sweep by sweeping both the Baltimore Texas and the Ft. Worth Piano Tuners , reaching the Hellmouth Cup for the first (and unfortunately last) time. In the Hellmouth Cup series, they lost to the San Francisco Boat Shoes juggernaut, winning just a single game during the series.

Despite a string of "Even Year Magic" postseason appearances (S14, S16, and S18), the Animals were swiftly eliminated from the postseason each year, and they sputtered into the final season (Season 24) of the Hellmouth Cup.
