The Baltimore Diaspora refers to the exodus of BTX.png Baltimore Texas fans from Baltimore after the Cancel Texas Memo, the incineration of the Texas, and the declaration of the Baltimore Uncalled For War.

The exodus was initially driven by Texas fans who found it too painful to stay in Baltimore after the incineration, and who felt the BPT.png Baltimore Piano Tuners were only soiling their fond memories of Baltimore. This initial wave of the Baltimore Diaspora was a massive sea of humanity migrating across the country at an unprecedented scale; the Diaspora was initially so large it temporarily overwhelmed the infrastructure of Louisville. Interstate systems and railroads were jammed up all over the East coast. By the time the City of Baltimore declared war on the Commissioner of Golly, igniting the Baltimore Uncalled For War, the exodus had settled into a steady stream.

Geography

Those who resettled during the diaspora are split between two groups:

  • Baltimore Kentucky, a large enclave of Baltimore expats living in Louisville, Kentucky
  • Baltimore Oklahoma, a small enclave of geographically-challenged Baltimore expats living in Louisville, Ohio

A third contingent of the Baltimore Diaspora, nicknamed the Baltimore Baltimore, consists of Texas fans who moved to Louisville, only to discover that anyone can root for any team they want without actually living in that team's city. They subsequently moved back to Baltimore and live there to this day.
