In Toroidal/Season 20, when the Cancel Texas Memo was carried out and the Ft. Worth Piano Tuners cheaters were banished to Baltimore to form the Baltimore Piano Tuners , the Commissioner created a secret order dedicated to the Keeping of the Curse, and every member of the Butchers collective was initiated into the secret order.

Toroidal/Season 22 - TB knocked out BPT in the LDS

Rainbow Cup - zero pennants, zero Cup appearances

Klein/Season 17 - TB knocked out BPT in the LCS

Klein/Season 23 - TB knocked out BPT in the LDS

Klein/Season 24 - TB knocked out BPT in the LDS

The trend was supposed to continue through the Hellmouth II Cup, except that it didn't.

Hellmouth II/Season 3 - TB lost to the BPT in the LCS, making history, leaving Baltimore simultaneously elated and miserable, and seeming to answer, once and for all, the question of whether curses are intrinsic or extrinsic (answer: intrinsic) by showing that curses do not care WHERE you are (Baltimore), they only care WHO you are (not the Texas).

Hellmouth II/Season 11 - TB knocked out BPT in the LDS

Despite continuing to carry out their role of postseason bouncers, tossing the BPT out, the damage was done, the curse had been broken, and the BPT regularly sent thank you notes to the TB, grinding on the Butchers' nerves.

To the great relief of the Butchers, the Baltimore Piano Tuners were incinerated at the conclusion of the Hellmouth II Cup.
