A Double Choke refers to a season in which two teams with the "Choke Artist" title both choke in the penultimate round of the playoffs.

The most famous occurrences of the double choke occurred with Hot League Choke Artists the Detroit Grape Chews and Cold League Choke Artists the Baltimore Texas , respectively.

A double-choke occurred in Toroidal/Season 4:

In the Cold League, the Baltimore Texas choked in the pennant game against the Long Beach Flightless Birds .
In the Hot League, the Detroit Grape Chews choked against the Boylston Boogers .

Another double-choke occurred in Toroidal/Season 19:

In the Cold League, the Baltimore Texas choked in the pennant game against the San Diego Balloon Animals .
In the Hot League, the Detroit Grape Chews choked against the Albuquerque Solarpunks .
