The San Francisco Boat Shoes contracted the Northeastern Flu between Hellmouth III/Season 6 and Hellmouth III/Season 13, making three early exits from the postseason after getting eliminated by the Alewife Arsonists , Boylston Boogers , and Jersey OSHA Violations . The Shoes had 1 single postseason victory during that entire span. Eventually, the Shoes' condition would worsen, and the Northeastern Flue would become the Division Series Flu.
