Soometime around Hellmouth III/Season 6, the SFBS.png San Francisco Boat Shoes contracted a violent case of the Northeastern Flu. This affected their performance in games against Northeastern teams, where they exhibited a total inability to fight back and got pounded. This happened 3 times:

In that entire span, the Shoes managed to scrape together just one single postseason win.

In Hellmouth III/Season 16 the Shoes' illness would worsen, and the Northeastern Flu became the Division Series Flu.
