The fact that the embezzlement scandals have occurred during season where the Delaware Corporate Shells have performed poorly has led some Hellmouth newspapers to speculate that the Delaware Corporate Shells may be more concerned with embezzling money than with participating in the splort of Golly. The Delaware Corporate Shells have continued to refuse to comment on the matter, citing ongoing litigation, but they have opened several lawsuits against various Hellmouth newspapers in response.
