• In the Cold Fire division, the Baltimore Texas overtook the Seattle Sneakers mid-season for first place, and never looked down back

• In the Cold Water division, the Jersey OSHA Violations were on track to make their first postseason appearance in franchise history until a series of mysterious accidents mid-season sent several key players to the hospital (it was a life-or-death situation). Morale crumbled, and the team nosedived into the second half of the season. The San Diego Balloon Animals were waiting in the wings and took the division by a mile.

• In the Hot Fire division, the Detroit Grape Chews dominated, maintaining a record of 10 games above .500

• The Sacramento Boot Lickers were the dark horse in the Hot Water division, rallying unexpectedly from a mediocre position in third place mid-season to rocket into first place and take the division. The Alewife Arsonists made a speedrun for partytime.
