- In Cold Fire the Baltimore Texas jumped out in front, taking advantage of a late season slide by the Long Beach Flightless Birds
- In Cold Water the Jersey OSHA Violations truly had their dream season, spending nearly the entire season with a healthy, safe lead that guaranteed them a postseason spot
- In Hot Fire the Detroit Grape Chews were really going through some stuff, and matched their personal-best Season 7 Partytime speedrun. Incredibly, they still did not beat the Season 8 Delaware Corporate Shells speedrun record of 42 days.
- In Hot Water the Sacramento Boot Lickers had a good run being on top, while the Atlanta Glitter Sharks spent the season underwater
