Season
Wins
- In the Cold Fire division, the
Seattle Sneakers started off on the wrong foot, looking like they might have an historically bad season, but their recovery was just as dramatic. The
Elko Astronauts and
Baltimore Texas tangled for the top spot
- In the Cold Water division, the
Tucson Butchers and
San Diego Balloon Animals raced each other to partytime. The
Ft. Worth Piano Tuners and
Jersey OSHA Violations didn't do much better
- In Hot Fire the
Milwaukee Flamingos couldn't hang, dropping from vying for first to dead last, while the
Detroit Grape Chews held first for most of the season
- In Hot Water the
Atlanta Glitter Sharks and
Orlando Business Majors had a race for the top winning record in Golly that ended in a tie
- The
Ft. Worth Piano Tuners (Cold Water) and
Detroit Grape Chews (Hot Fire) earned the nickname "Least Worst" after they won their division with a win-loss record below .500 (24-25), the first time it had happened in either division
Runs
- The big mid-season winning streak by the
Seattle Sneakers was powered by outscoring their opponents in a big way
Partytime
Main: Stlats/Partytime
- The first Hot League team to partytime was the
Milwaukee Flamingos, sent to partytime on Day 47
- The first Cold League teams to partytime were the
Tucson Butchers and the
San Diego Balloon Animals, both sent to partytime on Day 46
Postseason
