• The Cold Fire division was a dead heat the entire season, with each team hovering around an even .500 record. The division winners, the Elko Astronauts , narrowly edged out the Baltimore Texas . Notably, this was the first time any team had won their division with a record below .500.

• In the Cold Water division, the Ft. Worth Piano Tuners were determined to set a record for winningest team in Golly, and determined to make it stand for many seasons. The Tucson Butchers looked like they might catch up, but they couldn't maintain the pace. The Piano Tuners ended the season lightyears ahead of the rest of the league

• In the Hot Fire division, the San Francisco Boat Shoes clubhouse experienced a total meltdown, as they barely managed to cross the finish line

• In the Hot Water Division it was a two-horse race between the Orlando Business Majors and the Alewife Arsonists , with the Arsonists taking the division (and the Business Majors taking the championship)

Runs

• The historic winning season of the Ft. Worth Piano Tuners was powered by big run differentials

• The Long Beach Flightless Birds were the only team in the Cold Fire horse race that consistently outscored their opponents

• The San Francisco Boat Shoes meltdown wasn't because they were getting outscored by their opponents - they were able to keep their games close, they just couldn't follow through and win games.

• The Sacramento Boot Lickers were the worst team in Golly until the catastrophic meltdown of their Cali Crown rivals, the San Francisco Boat Shoes
