The Salt Lake Turbulence (The Burbs) are a Golly team from Salt Lake City, Utah. They joined the league in Season 16 and won their first Hellmouth Cup championship in Season 21, making them the first expansion team to win a championship.

Team Character

The Salt Lake Turbulence are amateur armchair experts in the physics of turbulence, and are well-known for their party trick of being able to deliver extemporaneous lectures on virtually any topic related to the subject of turbulence upon request.

Despite their insistence on being called "The Turbulence" both formally and informally, the Turbulence are more widely known throughout the league as "The Burbs".
