The Louisville Illusionists are a Golly team from Louisville, Kentucky. The Illusionists joined the Cold League in Toroidal/Season 21, replacing the Ft. Worth Piano Tuners , who were demoted and moved to Baltimore to become the Baltimore Piano Tuners (see Cancel Texas Memo). Despite initial rumors that the team taking over the team colors of the defunct Ft. Worth Piano Tuners would be cursed, the Illusionists were extremely successful in the Rainbow Cup.

Many loyal Baltimore Texas fans, unable to bear the thought of a Baltimore Piano Tuners team soiling their memories of the Texas, migrated from Baltimore to Louisville. The migration was massive and unexpected, temporarily overwhelming Louisville's infrastructure. The Baltimore expats in Louisville formed an enclave called Baltimore, Kentucky. There is another enclave of geographically-challenged Baltimore expats in Louisville, Ohio, which they nicknamed Baltimore, Oklahoma.
