The Louisville Illusionists are a Golly team from Louisville, Kentucky. The Illusionists joined the Cold League in Toroidal/Season 21, replacing the Ft. Worth Piano Tuners , who were demoted and moved to Baltimore to become the Baltimore Piano Tuners (see Cancel Texas Memo). Despite initial rumors that the team taking over the team colors of the defunct Ft. Worth Piano Tuners would be cursed, the Illusionists were extremely successful in the Rainbow Cup.

A substantial part of the Louisville Illusionists fan base is composed of the Baltimore Diaspoa. The Baltimore Diaspora consists of loyal Baltimore Texas fans who left Baltimore after the Cancel Texas Memo, the incineration of the Baltimore Texas , and the declaration of the Baltimore Uncalled For War.

The exodus of fans from Baltimore to Louisville was dubbed the Baltimore Diaspora. It was a massive exodus of humanity, unprecedented in scale, that was so large it temporarily overwhelmed the infrastructure of Louisville. Most of those who resettled during the diaspora are now split between a large enclave of Baltimore expats in Louisville, which is nicknamed Baltimore Kentucky, and a second, smaller enclave of geographically-challenged Baltimore expats in Louisville, Ohio, also nicknamed Baltimore Oklahoma. (This does not count a third contingent of Texas fans who moved to Louisville, only to discover that you can root for any team you'd like without actually living there, and subsequently moved back to Baltimore, called the Baltimore Baltimore.)
