Rainbow Cup/Teams

This page lists the chronology of teams in the Rainbow Cup.

Season 1-Season 24

The Rainbow league saw the addition of several new expansion teams:

• Fargo Flea Flickers
• Grand Junction Conjunctions
• Mobile Wheels

Additionally, it saw the return of Toroidal Cup teams, including:

• Delaware Corporate Shells
• Baltimore Piano Tuners
• Louisville Illusionists

The league was reorganized into three divisions per league, two leagues total, with 4 teams in each division, for a total of 24 teams.

Season 21-Season 24

At the conclusion of Season 20, the Baltimore Texas were incinerated per the Cancel Texas Memo. The Ft. Worth Piano Tuners , their bitter Texas Crown rivals, were humiliated by being forced to adopt the hometown and team colors of their bitter rivals, becoming the Baltimore Piano Tuners .

The vacancy in the Cold Water Division left by the Ft. Worth Piano Tuners was filled by the Louisville Illusionists .

In the Hot Fire Division, the Delaware Corporate Shells had to drop out of the league due to a flurry of litigation. They were replaced by the Vegas Vampires , an expansion team of definitely-not-vampires.

Season 16-Season 24

In Season 16, the Golly league expanded by adding 4 new teams - one per division.

The four new division teams were:

• Cold Water: Phoenix Freshrolls
• Hot Fire: Sugar Grove Eavesdroppers
• Hot Water: Albuquerque Solarpunks
