Salton Sea Crown and Rivalry with Tucson Butchers
During Season 1, in the first ever Cold League Championship series, the Long Beach Flightless Birds defeated the Tucson Butchers on their way to the first ever Hellmouth Crown.
In Season 9 the same Cold League Championship Series matchup between the Butchers and the Birds occurred, but with a different outcome: the Tucson Butchers defeated the Flightless Birds. The Tucson Butchers and Long Beach Flightless Birds met in a third Cold League Championship Series in Season 10, when they formally established a rivalry.
